Chapter 01

The Fog: Silence as a Mist

It all began with a meeting with one writer, "M.T. Lotus." Her work, "Lotus in the Mud," is not just non-fiction. It is a record of a soul that was almost deprived of its voice, its past, and even its existence behind the thick curtain of society's "normality."

The biggest wall we faced was not technical. It was the extremely delicate question: "How can we deliver this truth to the world while protecting the safety of the author?" For the author herself to show her face involves serious risk. But this story must be delivered by someone.

Furthermore, the soul of this story was destined to die in simple translation. Not just physical wounds, but "gray zone" abuse that is difficult for those around to recognize. Like an "iceberg hidden beneath the surface," it erodes countless hearts where it cannot be seen. How can we convey this unspeakable pain and its nuances, which differ by culture and language, without misunderstanding?

Our challenge was not just web production or translation. It was a voyage to deliver that cry to the world as an "agent" for a single soul.

Chapter 02

Our Dialogue: Dialogue with the Soul, Co-creation with AI

One of Daisosha's missions is "to dedicate ourselves to the happiness of children." Faced with that mission, the theme of abuse was a path we could never avoid. We began a dialogue with this work as if facing "another self" named M.T. Lotus. It was a process of "appreciating" the author's pain and deeply empathizing with the cry of her soul.

Our language skills had limits. So, we made AI our dialogue partner. First, we thoroughly investigated the cultural background and social perception of abuse in each of the 8 linguistic spheres. Then, together with AI, we simulated hundreds of ways the delicate nuances of the original text—for example, the despair brought about by the "mother myth"—would resonate in each language.

STEP 01

Cultural Background Research

Thorough investigation of social perceptions of abuse and "mother myths" in each language sphere.

STEP 02

Interactive Simulation with AI

Simulating how original nuances resonate in each language hundreds of times.

STEP 03

Refining Expression through Appreciation

An endless dialogue to find the expression closest to the soul by appreciating AI's reflections.

STEP 04

Incorporation into Design

Designing the concept of "a lotus blooming quietly from the mud" to resonate in each culture.

The concept born from this dialogue became the core of the book cover and website design. "The trajectory of abuse is perfectly hidden, no matter how far you go. But even from that mud, the lotus blooms quietly and surely." We incorporated this quiet strength into the design.

Chapter 03

The Lighthouse's Beam: A Bridge to 8 Cultures

Born at the end of this long, deep dialogue were landing pages deployed in 8 languages and book covers fine-tuned to resonate with the hearts of readers in each cultural sphere.

These are not mere translations. Each is designed as "8 different entrances" so that readers in that cultural sphere can most smoothly touch the soul of the story.

Chapter 04

A New Dawn: The Voice That Didn't Reach Now Echoes in the World

When we finished this project, we were convinced.

"Tragedy must not be made into a mere letter of accusation. By not being swept away by emotion, but by lighting up the facts calmly and dispassionately, it becomes a universal story of hope."

This experience further deepened our philosophy of "appreciation." Dialogue with the client, dialogue with AI, and above all, dialogue with one's own inner voice. Not betraying any of them. That is the only way to create something truly valuable.

M.T. Lotus's voice has now become 8 languages, quietly echoing in corners of the world it once could not reach. Our voyage as an agent for a single soul continues.

This light of contemplation may illuminate someone's path
